The purpose of an organization is the foundation of the behaviour of directors and the management team in order to ensure their consistency and alignment to deliver the expected output of the organization.
Regardless the organization horizon (Short term vs long term goals, or exit strategy), directors and the management team must be honest and consistent with the purpose of the organization.
